Rev Coffee is the mostly-official, partially-formed website of Simon Oliver, Methodist Pioneer Minister in Cottenham.

I don’t work for a specific church but am employed by the Cambridge Methodist Circuit to work alongside     the Cottenham Community Centre and Coffee Shop.

I am particularly interested in working with 20-40somethings and young families through community work and creative projects. And I am hoping to find fresh ways of exploring issues of life, meaning and faith. I am aware that many people are deeply interested in looking at such issues but feel alienated, disconnected or uninterested in traditional Church, or are simply too busy with the chaos and demands of living in 2012 to find the time and space to

I have a passion for using and exploring creative arts, and am open to any thoughts, ideas and inspiration from others in Cottenham.

I also work closely with the Baptist Church, the Salvation Army and All Saints, Cottenham.

And I spend as much of my time as possible in Cottenham Community Centre’s wonderful Coffee Shop…
